SUNRISE SKI TEAM
Get up, beat the rush, get after it!
What started out as a few friends getting together to ski has evolved into a team concept that anyone who appreciates good water can relate to.
All skiers are a part of sunrise ski team. We all share a common bond and have unique individuals in our own "teams" that make us who we are.

WHAT MAKES US, US
Within our group we have certain characters, that we think every group has, in some way or another. Here is a list of a few of the things that we recognize that makes us who we are. Each team member holds one or more of these characteristics.
Hardcore- this member is always up for a set. If the water isn't frozen and the weather is nice, it's time to go. We love the opportunity to ski when the water is in its liquid state. Around here, you are guaranteed 8 months most years before the ice sets in, so why not make the most of it.
Optimizer- This member is always looking for a chance to get together and ski. Water conditions are an after-thought for the optimizer.
Redshirt-Just like in college sports, the redshirt is given to the member(s) that have not skied yet this season, or might not ski anymore. They are still a valuable part of the team.
Specialist- The specialist is just that. They usually perform one discipline per set, and usually the same discipline. The specialist is one step away from becoming a redshirt.
Jack of all trades- This is the member that can do it all. Always up for a challenge.
Satellite Captain- This member helps lead the way for future members to find their place on the team. Satellite sessions happen away from home-base. Different dock, different boat, different group.
Water Snob- This member will pass on a set to wait for better water. This could also mean switching to a discipline that does not require perfect conditions.
Booze Hound- These members are the first looking for refreshment.
Sleepy Head- This team member cannot make it to practice on time. For us, this doesn't mean that practice waits but rather the team member moves down in the rotation.
